Indeed it is Prog Rock’s lack of willingness to be acceptable that could well be its greatest weapon. This album proves all of that. Just hit play, set phasers to wibble, cut free the shackles of acceptability and enjoy yourself.

So what if this isn’t a brain crushingly heavy album? I reckon if you like a bit of pagan or folk-based metal then you’ll find something to love on here. It’s also got enough synth to satisfy the prog fans among us too. So you like a bit of Zappa, eh? You’ll probably find Slav right up your alley then. It’s fruity fun for everyone.
Don’t be a closed minded tit-box. Give it a go.

Farmers Market seems to be a passion project solely dedicated to making the music the band finds interesting to explore at the time, without greater worries about how to sell the album.
DPRP – Radio
To celebrate the show’s 4th birthday we bring you one of our best ever shows as we catch up on some of the wonderful new releases from the first 2 months of 2013. It’s a two-hour mega music fest with full length tracks from Steven Wilson, Lifesigns, Farmers Market, Syzergy, Neal Morse, Votum, Godsticks, The Custodian, T, The Living, La Desoorden, Taurus and Echoe.
Music @ The Digital Fix
Farmers Market stick out like a sore thumb in a world of po-faced indie rock groups and braggadocio-enamoured hip-hop superstars, but the thumb is pointing all the way up – their live show must be a treat.
DPRP – Dutch Progressive Rock Page
yet another band I was previously unaware of until immersing myself in the Marianas Trench of esoteric prog that is the reviewers pile here at DPRP Towers. This band, whom I am listening to right now at a wife-annoying volume (luckily for me, she’s out at the moment) and without the benefit of a press release to hand, appear to be a Mahavishnu influenced world music progressive band with exotic instrumentation aplenty, occasionally topped off with female Indian (?) singers. It shouldn’t work, but it does…oh yes sir-ee!
